Cheese:
Barber’s 1833-is made using traditional starter cultures and the finest West Country milk. Aged for at least 24 months, only when one of the Barber family judges it to be outstanding does it leave the farm as 1833.
A cheese with unrivalled complexity and depth, savour it as part of a cheeseboard with apples, pickled walnuts and a tankard of Somerset cider.
With a creamy texture and smooth finish, 1833 contains naturally-occurring crystals that give it a distinctive crunch. Refined sweet notes balance out its tangy sharpness. (Approx. 190g)
White Lake Bagborough Brie-This Brie-style cheese is made using Jersey cow milk for a rich, decadent flavour. It is a visual showstopper with its brilliant white rind enrobing a golden, creamy centre which breaks down and softens with age. This is a complex cheese with flavours of mushroom, umami, malt, yeast and fruity notes of strawberries and pears.
It will happily stand alone, complement a cheeseboard, or make for an indulgent baked cheese.
Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet. (Approx. 200g)
White Lake Shepton Blewe- Boasts a mild, sweet flavour with a subtle salty edge. Its texture is smooth and firm, with just the right amount of crumble - making it a versatile and irresistible addition to any cheeseboard.
Made with unpasteurised milk and vegetarian rennet. (Approx. 235g)
